Full-restaurant in a semi-night club atmosphere (Mexican Style). Not elegant but a welcoming, colorful, pleasant, non-intimidating atmosphere.
The concept is a street level Ministry.
The Building Will Have 3 floors
Ground Floor featuring Gospel rock and contemporary Christian music.
Second Floor featuring a more praise type atmosphere where people can come and grow.
Third Floor offering living quarters for housing personnel.
Music and Entertainment.
Offer "all expenses paid" trips for musical groups from the US. They can't be paid cash because of the entertainment union here in Mexico but we can pay all their expenses to get them here and while they are here.
Missions Work For Young Spirit-Filled Christians
Mission work is open to young Spirit-filled Christians from the US, as well as locals who speak English, to witness and work the floor. They need to be ready to share God at their own level and know when to call someone with a little more experience. We need enough people to serve the guests and to cover ministry to individuals as the needs arise.
Also, plenty of table games, and used paper back libuary.
The Second floor will be dedicated to AA and other types of group meetings. There needs to be a place where the person in the process of stopping an addiction, regardless of what it is, can come to grow and share with those who have experienced the same problems. They will help each other gain strength.
Totally Non-denominational. Many have to start with the concept of God which they already have, which may not be my concept or yours, but it is the one they must start with. Many have developed the problems they have while trying to escape their guilt, pain, unforgiveness etc. Through their sharing and watching others, God can work through the group to increase their awareness of Himself and His love and plan for them. In an atmosphere of acceptance and understanding, solid belief systems will form up and lives will be changed. We first have to open the door to God's love to free them from the guilt situations which drove their problems. Once free and received, they will come to know and trust God in ever deepening ways and so will we.
In order to create traffic and reach the people who need reaching, the ministry has to be totally non-intimidating. If they want to smoke or drink, then OK but they have to bring their own. Don't worry about this because they will not be comfortable, and we don't have to make them uncomfortable. The music, the atmosphere, and the presence of God will do it.
Our God self is our biggest critic. Therefore, the idea is to not only share verbally, but to share God's Peace, God's Joy, and The Tranquility of a walk with God by the example showing through the Spirit-filled personnel including the entertainers.
